“…median earnings of Hispanics who worked full time ($646) were lower than those of Blacks ($675), Whites ($881), and Asians ($1,022)” (Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2017).
“Latinos are less likely to have college degrees than other major racial/ethnic groups in the state” (The Campaign for College Opportunity, 2015).
Overrepresented in the justice system and receive harsher treatment. Lower wages. Fewer college degrees. More working in low-wage jobs…the data is clear.
